There’s plenty of reasons to celebrate this October, not only are we celebrating 80 years of Wonder Woman in the pages of DC Comics but today is also International Day of the Girl.
The global holiday observes the empowerment of girls and the acknowledgement of their human rights, the fundamental principles that the Amazoness superheroine has been fighting for these past eight decades.
To celebrate the occasion DC has put together a vibrant collection of Wonder Woman middle-grade and YA titles for young readers. These books will commemorate the impact Wonder Woman has had on the lives of young women and the female empowerment she’s inspired in them as well.
