Amazon Prime Video is spoiling us today with the release of a brand new poster for the upcoming The Wheel of Time adaption. The series is based on the best-selling book series. The first three episodes of Season One will premiere Friday 19th November, with new episodes available each Friday following, leading up to the season finale on 24th December.
The stunning poster artwork brings together the series’ main cast including Rosamund Pike. Starring alongside Pike are Josha Stradowski as Rand al’Thor, Marcus Rutherford as Perrin Aybara, Zoë Robins as Nynaeve al’Meara, Dónal Finn as Mat Cauthon, Madeleine Madden as Egwene al’Vere, Daniel Henney as Lan Mandragoran, Michael McElhatton as Tam al’Thor, Álvaro Morte as Logain Ablar, Hammed Animashaun as Loial, Alexandre Willaume as Thom Merrilin, Johann Myers as Padan Fain, Jennifer Cheon Garcia as Leane Sharif, Priyanka Bose as Alanna Mosvani, Emmanuel Imanias Ihvon, and Taylor Napier as Maksim.
As well as that stunning poster the studio has also released a handful of episodic stills from season 1:
Based on Robert Jordan’s best-selling fantasy novels, The Wheel of Time was adapted for television by executive producer/showrunner Rafe Judkins (Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Hemlock Grove). Larry Mondragon and Rick Selvage of Red Eagle Entertainment, Mike Weber (Jumanji: The Next Level), Ted Field of Radar Pictures (Jumanji: The Next Level), Darren Lemke (Shazam!, Goosebumps), Marigo Kehoe and Uta Briesewitz will also serve as executive producers, with Briesewitz set to direct the first two episodes. Rosamund Pike will serve as Producer and Harriet McDougal and Brandon Sanderson as consulting producers.
