Last week Warner Bros. Pictures confirmed the title and US release date for the latest Fantastic Beasts movie. The Secrets of Dumbledore once again takes fans back to the Wizarding World in a time before Harry Potter, this time exploring the backstory of Jude Law’s Albus Dumbledore.
Now we know that fans in the UK and Ireland will be able to watch the film one week ahead of audiences in the US. The film, directed by franchise veteran David Yates, will release on April 8, 2022.
Professor Albus Dumbledore knows the powerful Dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald is moving to seize control of the wizarding world. Unable to stop him alone, he entrusts Magizoologist Newt Scamander to lead an intrepid team of wizards, witches and one brave Muggle baker on a dangerous mission, where they encounter old and new beasts and clash with Grindelwald’s growing legion of followers. But with the stakes so high, how long can Dumbledore remain on the sidelines?
Eddie Redmayne, Katherine Waterston, Dan Fogler, Jude Law and Ezra Miller are all set to return for The Secrets of Dumbledore. Joining them will be Jessica Williams, Alison Sudol and Mads Mikkelsen.
