Apple TV has revealed the trailer for its upcoming animated short film, Blush. Produced by Apple Original Films and Skydance Animation, Blush follows the journey of a stranded horticulturist-astronaut’s chances for survival after he crash lands on a desolate dwarf planet. When an ethereal visitor arrives, the once-lone traveler discovers the joy in building a new life and realizes the universe has delivered astonishing salvation.

The film is part of the expanding lineup of Apple Original Films, including “CODA,” the first film to win all top prizes at Sundance Film Festival and now streaming on Apple TV+; “Finch,” the latest film starring Academy Award winner Tom Hanks, premiering November 5; the highly anticipated “Emancipation” from director Antoine Fuqua and starring and produced by Academy Award nominee Will Smith; Martin Scorsese’s “Killers of the Flower Moon,” starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Robert De Niro; the upcoming Mahershala Ali and Naomie Harris’-starred “Swan Song”; Oscar, BAFTA, People’s Choice and Critics Choice Super Award-nominated “Greyhound” written by and starring Tom Hanks; Academy Award-nominated, AFI Fest-winning animated film “Wolfwalkers”; NAACP Image Award winner “The Banker,” a film tackling racial injustice, starring Anthony Mackie and Samuel L. Blush will premiere globally on Apple TV+ on October 1, 2021.
