Hot off composing one of 2021’s best TV soundtracks with Loki, Natalie Holt has confirmed that she will be turning her attentions to another comic book property, HBO Max’s Batgirl.
As well as composing music for the Marvel Studios’ series, Holt has also worked on Wallander, Knightfall, Paddington, and Deadwater Fell. The composer confirmed the news in a posting on Twitter:
Batgirl is one of a number of DC Comics projects being produced directly for the WarnerMedia owned streaming service. The film is in development alongside projects featuring Blue Beetle, Gotham PD and Black Canary.
It was recently confirmed that In The Heights star Leslie Grace will take the lead in Batgirl . The film will be directed by Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah from a script by Christina Hodson. Kristin Burr is producing.
