Today the first episode of Creepshow season 3 streams on the horror streaming behemoth, Shudder. The first episode, featuring the stories “Mums” and “Queen Bee,” features directorial and writing duties from executive producer Greg Nicotero.
In “Mums” a young boy named Jack finds his life is upended when his mother is taken from him, but her garden leaves him more to remember her by than he first thought. The segment is directed by Rusty Cundieff and based on a story by Joe Hill. Nicotero writes the script.
Then in “Queen Bee,” Trenice and her friends are obsessed with pop star Regina. When they hear she has been admitted to a local hospital, they take the chance to try to meet Regina in person… but she’s even more larger-than-life than they imagined. Nicotero directs “Queen Bee” from a script by Erik Sandoval and Michael Rousellet.

In its first season, Creepshow smashed records for Shudder in number of viewers,new subscriber sign-ups and total minutes streamed to become the most watchedprogram in Shudder history. The show was a hit with critics as well as fans as one of 2019’s best-reviewed new genre series, with a 97% Fresh rating on review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes®.
