Shudder has dropped the official trailer for its upcoming original film, V/H/S/94. The fourth instalment in the the hit horror anthology franchise will release in North America, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia and New Zealand on Wednesday, October 6.
In V/H/S/94, after the discovery of a mysterious VHS tape, a brutish police swat team launch a high intensity raid on a remote warehouse, only to discover a sinister cult compound whose collection of pre-recorded material uncovers a nightmarish conspiracy.

V/H/S/94 marks the return of the infamous found footage anthology with segments from franchise alumni Simon Barrett (Séance) and Timo Tjahjanto (May the Devil Take You Too) in addition to acclaimed directors Jennifer Reeder (Knives & Skin), Ryan Prows (Lowlife) and Chloe Okuno (Slut). Greg Anderson of the legendary drone metal band Sunn O))) and Southern Lord records founder will compose the film’s score.

A routine SWAT raid on a contraband super lab turns to violent chaos when the officers find themselves inside a cult compound run by a charismatic leader who worships and sacrifices at the altar of VHS.
TERROR – Director, Ryan Prows (Lowlife) runtime 22 minutes
A white terrorist militia gets WAY more than they bargained for when they capture a supernatural force that they intend to weaponize in an attack on the U.S. government.
STORM DRAIN – Director, Chloe Okuno (Slut) runtime 17 minutes
A disgraced reporter investigates rumors of a mysterious figure known by locals as the “Rat Man.” When she and her reluctant cameraman go deep into the storm drain to get the story, they discover a horrifying cult that worships a terrifying creature.
THE EMPTY WAKE – Director, Simon Barrett (V/H/S, Seance) runtime 16 minutes
A young funeral home attendant hosts an overnight wake while recording footage for the dead man’s memorial.
THE SUBJECT – Director, Timo Tjahjanto (V/H/S, Headshot, May The Devil Take you too)
A woman wakes up to find herself an unwilling subject of a mad man’s experimentation, no longer fully human, rather a wretched abomination of flesh and machine.
David Bruckner (Hellraiser) and Radio Silence (SCREAM) served as executive producers. Josh Goldbloom produced the project for Cinepocalypse Productions alongside franchise co-creator Brad Miska of Bloody Disgusting, and Kurtis Harder (Spiral).
Michael Schreiber for Studio71, Zak Zeman, & Tom Owen also served as executive producers, along with Michael Paszt, James Fler and Andrew T. Hunt of Raven Banner Entertainment.
