Review
The battle to save the universe from the Empyreal threat is hotting up. Power Rangers #11 brings the big guns out for an epic story as the Omega Rangers desperately try their last attempt to win over the Yellow Emissary to bring down the Empyreal once and for all. Have they left it too late? My uneasy thoughts on Lord Drakkon may have been valid as he chooses his side and his true intentions are revealed.
This issue is by far the most action-packed so far as the heat really does get cranked up bringing the different mysteries and threats together building a story arc that looks as though its about to blow me away.
For me Ryan Parrott is by far one of my favourite writers working in comics today. Issue-after-issue he doesn’t fail at delivering a huge story that hooks you in and doesn’t let you go until it’s over. Franceso Mortarino’s illustrations are, once again, outstanding. Pulling your imagination deep in to the pages, making you feel every word.
Verdict
The best issue of the series so far, outstanding work from the creative team bringing together a powerful story that gets better as it goes, fully recommend picking it up.
