    Synopsis

The showdown between the Chimera and their hunters begins HERE!

Hannah and Regan, former member and victim of the Chimera, arrive at an abandoned resort town in the mountains. As the two women uncover and struggle with their shared past, the Chimera and their Faithful descend on the area. To their surprise, Hannah has been waiting for their arrival, and the ensuing battle will have deadly consequences for those unprepared…

    Review

Since the beginning issue Basilisk has been in my top three comic series, #4 hasn’t let me down bringing the same graphic action that I have come to expect, more of the dark gripping story to keep me glued to the pages.

The gripping cat and mouse adventure of Hannah and Reagan as they stay one step ahead of The Chimera, Hannah is ready and waiting for their arrival with warming welcome gift. The Showdown ensues bringing pages of explosive action, but will this be the end?

Bunn brings us more of his finest work producing a dark and gripping story full of non stop action that will get your heart racing with each page. The dark and dramatic illustrations from Scharf keep the imagination flowing gripping your attention as the pages go on, the creative team have set the bar to the max for the coming issues.

    Verdict

Another great issue from a developing story arc which grows more engaging with every issue. I honestly can’t wait to see what the creative team are bringing next, it’s all coming to a very dramatic head.
