HBO Max has tonight revealed a brand new look at the return of the Doom Patrol. The series will return to screens in North America on September 23, 2021.
This latest look at the new season brings with it tonnes of new footage and a focus on the arrival of Michelle Gomez as Madame Rouge. Rouge arrives at Doom Manor via some kind of time capsule and brings with her terrible news. Both The Brotherhood of Evil and The Sisterhood of Dada are setting their sights on causing chaos in this version of the DC Universe and it’s up to our unlikely heroes to save the day.

There’s a lot to unpack in this trailer. Cyborg (Joivan Wade) struggling once more with his identity, zombie Doom Patrol, flashbacks featuring both Matt Bomer and Brendan Fraser. It certainly looks like season 3 could be the most bonkers season yet!
Doom Patrol is produced by Berlanti Productions in association with Warner Bros. Television, with Jeremy Carver, Greg Berlanti, Sarah Schechter, Chris Dingess and Geoff Johns serving as executive producers. The series is based on characters created for DC by Arnold Drake, Bob Haney and Bruno Premiani.
