DUNE unveils new IMAX poster

Paul Atreides stands alone in new IMAX poster!

Dune (Warner Bros.)

Warner Bros. and Legendary have released a brand new poster for the highly anticipated Dune. The Denis Villeneuve-directed epic, based on Frank Herberts’s sci-fi novel, is set to hit cinemas in October and IMAX is definitely the place to see it. But before we can escape to the harsh world of Arrakis in just a few months, the film is set to have its world premiere at the 78th Venice International Film.

From Friday we should have our first lot of online reactions. We’re hoping that they’re all positive. However, with plans in motion for a second part it’ll be interesting to see how Dune is received. The second part may depend entirely on whether the first movie is both a financial success and critical success.

You can check out the awesome poster below:

If you’re hoping to catch Dune in cinema, IMAX is going to be the best option. With Dune being such a visual film, and with a booming soundtrack by Hans Zimmer, you’ll want the best seats and the biggest screen. As previously mentioned, we’ve got quite a bit of waiting to do. But we can definitely feel the hype building and we’re certain that time will just fly by.

The film hits cinemas on October 21, 2021.

Dune stars Timothee Chalamet in the lead role of Paul Atreides, Javier Bardem as Stilgar,  Josh Brolin as Gurney Halleck, Zendaya as Chani, Oscar Isaac as Duke Leto Atreides, Rebecca Ferguson as Lady Jessica, Stellan Skarsgard as Baron Harkonnen, Dave Bautista as “The Beast” Rabban, Jason Momoa as Duncan Idaho and Charlotte Rampling as the Reverend Mother.

The film hits cinemas in the UK on October 22, 2021. In the US the film will also debut on HBO Max.
