They will, in turn, be joined by Emmanuelle Chriqui as Clark’s ex-girlfriend, Lana Lang, Erik Valdez as Lana’s husband, Kyle Cushing. Dylan Walsh will portray Lois’ father, General Sam Lane. Jordan Elsass and Alexander Garfin also co-star in the series as Superman and Lois’ sons, Jonathan and Jordan Kent.
Synopsis

Review
What an episode that was!
Set 3 weeks after the previous episode, Smallville is still feeling the effects of Edges’ influence and the DOD has remained active within the town. The locals are forced to close up shop and are understandably angry at the lack of communication from anyone with what happened and what is happening.
It is not looking too good for Smallville, especially for the Cushing family who have decided to leave Smallville behind for a fresh start, it’s been interesting that despite the Clarks being the main focal point of the series, it’s also shown the difficulties Lana Lang has faced in her mid-life. This could have been a detrimental part of any show which would have forcibly dragged us away from the main cast but for the Cushing’s and their dysfunctional dynamic and how it was affected by the main events has been quite refreshing.
In these 3 weeks however, Tah-Rho has finished his ‘charging’ on the opposite end of the Sun and has begun his final attack on Earth and my god he does not hold back!
This episode goes from small character pieces to straight up blockbuster action film as Superman and Steel rush to Metropolis to take down Tah-Rho and Larr (who he broke out of her prison earlier on). The fight seems evenly matched before a handful of sleeper Krypton’s rise from the crowds of pedestrians forcing the duo to split up to stop them destroying the city.
We have Lois rushing to the clock tower to let the people know what is happening and to take cover before a familiar scene starts to play out.
Superman and Steel get their shine moments in these fights and I am all here for this dynamic duo, they fight differently and it’s just a delight to see, I was smiling throughout this entire sequence. The effects and set pieces were also high quality which this show has remained consistent throughout. I will keep saying this but it is upping the standard of the Arrowverse shows.
Tah-Rho continues to stay ahead of the duo though and escapes, but not before focusing on the teens. He completely KO’s General Lane and his jeep and despite Jonathan’s attempt to shoot him, Tal-Rho escapes with Jordan, finalising by implanting the consciousness of his father into him.
Verdict
We’re now in the end game of this incredibly strong series and I have no doubts they will stick the landing with Superman & Lois becoming the strongest first season of the Arrowverse and perhaps of any Superman show before it. The fights looked fantastic, the players are all set and the stakes are at an all-time high. If only they could recruit Supergirl or the rest of the Post Crisis Justice League to come help out in the fight and to save Superman’s son!
