Are you guys ready for Marvel’s What If? We can’t wait to see what the multiverse has to offer. Zombies, Peggy Carter as Cap, the Dark Dimension and various other changes. The possibilites are literally endless and they’re being brought to our screens tomorrow. Stunning animation and a truly epic cast? Count us in. The countdown officially starts now. To celebrate the release of this unique series, Hot Toys have spoilt us with some brand new figures showing off the new designs and scenarios our favourite characters face.
First up, we have Peggy Carter suited up as Captain Carter. The announcement tweet also shows Peggy with a rather large ally… Hydra Stomper piloted by a serum-less Steve Rogers. There’s a hint of Iron Monger in this early iteration of the Iron Man suit and we can’t wait to see what kind of damage the duo can cause.
Check out the insane figures below!
Next up is a slighty odd combo… Spider-Man and Doctor Strange. Say hello to Zombie Hunter Spidey. With the help of Strange’s Cloak of Levitation, Spider-Man is ready to… hunt zombies. Unfortunately, it looks as though the zombies will resemble his own teammates and friends.
Who’s ready to kill zombies?
“Expertly crafted based on the appearance of Zombie Hunter Spider-Man in the soon-to-be-released animation series, the 1/6th scale figure features a newly crafted masked head sculpt with multiple interchangeable right eye pieces to create different combinations of expressions; a greatly poseable figure body; finely tailored Zombie Hunter Spider-Man suit following the classic blue and red color scheme with a Cloak of Levitation in burgundy; a number of interchangeable hands for signature poses; assorted web effect accessories, and a dynamic figure stand.” Pre-orders are live over at Sideshow Collectibles for $270 (Just under £200).
Marvel’s What If opens the door for a myriad of potential figures. It’ll be interesting to see what else Hot Toys have up their sleeve especially as the series progresses. We still don’t know what else What If has to offer… I guess we’ll have to wait and see. Make sure you check out Marvel’s What If tomorrow.
