BOOM! Studios has offered Power Rangers fans their first look at the upcoming issue #10 of the series. Alongside cover artwork the publisher has also revealed a number of preview pages from the August 18 release.
The issue comes from writers Ryan Parrott (Mighty Morphin Power Rangers/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles) and Rachel Wagner, artist Moisés Hidalgo (Mighty Morphin Power Rangers), colorist Raúl Angulo (Buffy the Vampire Slayer) with colour assistance by Jose Enrique Fernández, and letterer Ed Dukeshire, in conjunction with the Mighty Morphin series.
Yale, the Omega Rangers’ alien companion, embarks on a solo mission to protect a group of kids from the terrors of Safehaven. Guided by the voice of the Blue Emissary, Yale will travel closer to his destiny… but what does this mean for the Omega Rangers?
Power Rangers #10 features main cover art by acclaimed illustrator Matteo Scalera with Moreno Dinisio (Batman: White Knight Presents Harley Quinn), and variant covers by Daniele Di Nicuolo (Seven Secrets), Goñi Montes (Mighty Morphin Power Rangers), and illustrator Yejin Park.
Currently, Power Rangers is celebrating 28 continuous years on the air, making it one of the longest-running kids’ live-action series in television history, with nearly 900 episodes aired to date. Created by Haim Saban and launched in 1993 with Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, the franchise celebrates its 28th season, with “Power Rangers Dino Fury”, currently airing Saturdays at 8 a.m. (ET/PT) on Nickelodeon and now streaming on Netflix in the U.S.
Power Rangers is the newest release from BOOM!
