The latest film starring Nicolas Cage has finally been given a UK release date! Cage’s latest highly-anticipated movie, Pig, will now release in UK cinemas on 20th August. The film is being distributed by independent distributor Altitude.
The film follows a truffle hunter (Nicolas Cage – Mandy, Willy’s Wonderland) who lives alone in the Oregonian wilderness that must return to his past in Portland in search of his beloved foraging pig after she is kidnapped.
It is directed by first-time director Michael Sarnoski and has received overwhelmingly positive reviews from critics (as of 14/07/21 it has a glowing 97% on Rotten Tomatoes with 34 reviews counted). As well as the news of a release date, a trailer has also debuted giving us a glimpse of yet another fantastic performance from Cage.
