It was recently revealed that production on New Line Cinema and Warner Bros. Black Adam is drawing to a close. Producer and star Dwayne Johnson has remained active on social media throughout the production and has now shared another impressive image from the set.
Offering fans our best look yet – from behind – of his costume, this latest image and its caption teases the impressive scale of the production.
“This image of Black Adam from behind gives you a tactile sense of the absolute massive scale and size of our movie. And appropriate destruction,” Johnson says of the post which you can see below.
“You see, superheroes have a code of justice and don’t kill the bad guys,” continues Johnson. “But, Black Adam does. The hierarchy of power in the DC Universe is changing. The antihero. The man in black. The protector of the people.”
This latest tease has us even more excited to see the first footage from the film. Given we’re still a year away from release it’ll be a little while before we get a proper look. But we’d imagine all eyes will be on Johnson making an appearance at DC FanDome in October.
Directed by Jaume Collet-Serra, Black Adam stars Dwayne Johnson, Noah Centineo, Aldis Hodge, Pierce Brosnan, Quintessa Swindell, Pierce Brosnan, Mo Amer, Marwan Kenzari, Bodhi Sabongui, James Cusati-Moyer, Sarah Shahi and Uli Latukefu. The film is set to arrive in cinemas July 29, 2022.
