During last week’s Anime Expo Lite event fans were trailer to a first look at Star Wars: Visions. During the event it was confirmed that the anime anthology series will make its streaming debut on September 22, 2021. Now the trailer has found its way online for fans to enjoy.
Visions is a series of shorts each produced by a different anime studios and each told from a unique perspective in the Star Wars universe. Stories confirmed for the series include:
- Kamikaze Douga –The Duel
- Geno Studio (Twin Engine) – Lop and Ochō
- Studio Colorido (Twin Engine) –Tatooine Rhapsody
- Trigger –The Twins
- Trigger –The Elder
- Kinema Citrus –The Village Bride
- Science Saru – Akakiri
- Science Saru – T0-B1
- Production IG –The Ninth Jedi
The trailer features interview clips from various artists discussing their work on the show. Alongside this we get to see plenty of stunning preview art from the different story sections. Check out the trailer in the player below:
