Before there was Cole Young, Warner Bros. Animation brought us the blistering Mortal Kombat Legends: Scorpion’s Revenge. The animated movie released back in April of 2020 and fans have been clamouring for a sequel ever since.
In our review of the film Neil said Scorpion’s Revenge was a “brutal and powerful glimpse in to the potential animated universe” for the franchise. It seems the studio was listening, late last night a trailer debuted for the second film in this burgeoning franchise, Battle of the Realms.
Picking up shortly after the events of the first film, Shao Kahn has unleashed all of his forces of the other realms. Raiden and his team of heroes must band together to fight in one last tournament to bring an end to his evil reign and peace to the realms.
