The Flash director, Andy Muschietti, has shared another costume design from the upcoming movie. After revealing part of the new design for Ezra Miller’s costume last week, the director has now chosen to reveal part of Sasha Calle’s Supergirl costume!
As you can see from this new image, the costume is very familiar to DC movie fans!
It seems the costume is most certainly from the same Kryptonian design family as Henry Cavill’s suit. There are some subtle differences to the style of the “S” but otherwise the costume is very reminiscent of Michael Wilkinson’s Man of Steel design. The colouring of Calle’s suit brings the red of the cap over the shoulders and on to the chest. It certainly echoes the bright red of Miller’s Flash costume.
Directed by Andy Muschietti, The Flash is set to star Ezra Miller as Barry Allen. Co-starring as Kiersey Clemons as Iris West, Ron Livingston as Henry Allen with both Ben Affleck and Michael Keaton appearing as Batman. The film is due for release on November 4, 2022.
