Just last month we brought you the news that Kickass and Tenet actor Aaron Taylor-Johnson has been cast in Sony Pictures Kraven the Hunter. Now we’re hearing that the movie has also found itself a villain.
According to a new rumours from The Illuminerdi, Art Marcum & Matt Holloway and Richard Wenk’s screenplay includes classic Spider-Man villain Chameleon. It is understood that director J.C. Chandor (A Most Violent Year) is currently searching for an actor to take on the role.
According to the report, the studio is searching for an actor in their thirties to take on Chameleon. In the comics Dmitri Smerdyakov is a Russian-born master of disguise who, typically through the use of advanced technology, is able to manipulate his physical appearance at will. Chameleon is known for taking on other people’s identities to wreck havoc and advance his villainous schemes.
Kraven the Hunter is currently scheduled to arrive in cinemas on January 13, 2023.
