Thor himself, Chris Hemsworth, has confirmed that production is now completed on Marvel Studios’ Thor: Love and Thunder. To celebrate the end of filming the star has shared a new behind-the-scenes photo alongside director Taika Waititi.
“That’s a wrap on Thor Love and Thunder,” said Hemsworth in the photo’s caption. “It’s also national don’t flex day so I thought this super relaxed photo was appropriate. The film is gonna be batshit crazy off the wall funny and might also pull a heart string or two. Lots of love, lots of thunder! Thank you to all the cast and crew who made this another incredible Marvel journey. Buckle in, get ready and see ya in cinemas!!”

Directed by the returning Taika Waititi, Thor: Love and Thunder stars Chris Hemsworth, Tessa Thompson, Natalie Portman, Jaimie Alexander, Chris Pratt, Dave Bautista and Karen Gillen. They will be joined by Christian Bale as Gorr the God Butcher and Russell Crowe as Zeus. The film hits cinemas on May 6, 2022.
