BOOM! Studios has revealed first look images from the upcoming Power Rangers #7. The issue, from superstar writer Ryan Parrott (Mighty Morphin Power Rangers/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles), acclaimed artist Francesco Mortarino (Firefly: The Sting), colorists Raúl Angulo (Buffy the Vampire Slayer) and Jose Enrique Fernández (Mega Man: Fully Charged), and letterer Ed Dukeshire (Once & Future), hits newsstands this Wednesday (May 19).

The Omega Rangers and Drakkon are on the run in space, but they must find new allies if they want to defeat the Empyreals. But that means trusting someone they’re not sure is friend or foe if they are to save the universe. And then… there’s Drakkon.

Power Rangers is one of the longest running kids live action series in television celebrating 28 continuous years on the air, with nearly 900 episodes aired to date. Created by Haim Saban and launched in 1993 with Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, the franchise celebrates its 28th season, “Power Rangers Dino Fury”, currently airing Saturdays at 8 a.m. (ET/PT) on Nickelodeon in the U.S.
