Review
I am a big fan of any superhero story and love reading new twists on the concept. Commanders in Crisis is definitely a different take on the superhero genre with a continuation of a strong story arc full of action and drama.
From the creative minds of Steve Orlando and Davide Tinto comes a story of alternative worlds and their heroes battling to ease the unrest with the passing of the American Individuality Act, with unique characters all with their individual stories written expertly by L.A Thornhill taking you on an interesting journey between alternate worlds and time travel. The ongoing story arc of the Prizefighter and American Dreamer being one that I particularly enjoyed bringing plenty of action to the pages, while we see Seer travel back in time to investigate the origins of heroism both interesting storylines I am looking forward to see develop. With eye catching art design by Davide Tinto taking you deep within the story.
I found Commanders in Crisis to be an intriguing mix of stories neatly entwined to form an interesting story arc with different heroes of The Crisis Command coming together in their effort to save the reality as we know.
Verdict
An enjoyable read with page after page of action, different story arcs seemingly brought together keeping the reader wanting more.
