Disney and Pixar have dropped a brand new trailer and poster for their upcoming original feature film Luca. The trailer showcases one incredible summer in the Italian seaside town of Portorosso—seen through the eyes of a sea monster named Luca.
You can feast your eyes on the new poster below which shows us the main trio and their human disguises. We absolutely love the art and overall aesthetic of Luca. Unfortunately, Disney+ users will have to wait until June 18th before they can watch this brand new animated feature.
Say hello to Luca and the gang!
Disney and Pixar’s original feature film Luca is a coming-of-age story about one young boy experiencing an unforgettable summer filled with gelato, pasta and endless scooter rides. Luca shares these adventures with his newfound best friend. But all the fun is threatened by a deeply-held secret… they are sea monsters from another world just below the water’s surface.
Luca‘s all-star voice cast includes Jacob Tremblay (Room, Wonder) as Luca Paguro, a bright and inventive 13-year-old sea monster with endless curiosity — especially when it comes to the mysterious world above the sea; Jack Dylan Grazer (We Are Who We Are, Shazam) as Alberto Scorfano, an independent, free-spirited teenage sea monster with unbridled enthusiasm for the human world; Emma Berman as Giulia, an outgoing and charming adventurer who befriends Luca and Alberto; Maya Rudolph (Bridesmaids, Saturday Night Live, Big Mouth) as Daniela, Luca’s mother; Marco Barricelli as Massimo, Giulia’s father; and Jim Gaffigan (The Pale Tourist, Troop Zero) as Lorenzo, Luca’s father.
