Michael Keaton Finally Confirmed For THE FLASH
After much rumour and speculation, Michael Keaton’s agency has confirmed the actor is in London for production on THE FLASH!

After months of speculation and rumour it has now been confirmed that Michael Keaton as joined the cast of The Flash in London. The actor, who appeared in concept art shown at DC FanDome, had recently cast doubt on whether he would be returning to suit up as Batman. It was confirmed yesterday the production on the film has now begun at Warner Bros. Studios outside the city.
Overnight The Wrap was able to obtain confirmation from Keaton’s agency, ICM Partners, that he WILL appear as The Dark Knight once more.
Last month Keaton was unsure of his involvement citing COVID as a potential risk factor to his role in the movie.
“To be honest with you, you know what worries me more than anything about all this stuff? It’s COVID,” Keaton said at the time. “I’m more concerned. I keep my eye more on the COVID situation in the UK than anything. That will determine everything, and so that’s why I’m living outside the city here on 17 acres, staying away from everybody, because the COVID thing has got me really concerned. So, that’s my first thing about all projects. I look at it and go, is this thing going to kill me, literally? And you know, if it doesn’t, then we talk.”
Directed by Andy Muschietti, The Flash is set to star Ezra Miller as Barry Allen. Co-starring as Kiersey Clemons as Iris West, Ron Livingston as Henry Allen with both Ben Affleck and Michael Keaton appearing as Batman. The film is due for release on November 4, 2022.
