HBO’s upcoming The Last of Us series has found its Tommy. The series, set to star Game of Thrones Bella Ramsey and Pedro Pascal, has added Terminator: Dark Fate actor Gabriel Luna as the younger brother of Joel.
Tommy played a pivotal role in the second of Naughty Dog’s critically acclaimed video games. Variety described the live-action take on the character as “a former soldier who hasn’t lost his sense of idealism and hope for a better world.”
Fans will remember Luna as Rev-9 in Terminator: Dark Fate, and also for his portrayal of the Robbie Reyes/ incarnation of Ghost Rider in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
Craig Mazin and Neil Druckmann are set to produce The Last of Us series along with Carolyn Strauss (Chernobyl, Game of Thrones), Naughty Dog’s Evan Wells and PlayStation Productions’ Asad Qizilbash and Carter Swan.
