The final countdown is now on to the return of Supergirl. The CW series returns for its final season starting Tuesday, March 30th and now we have news on two new recurring roles.
Deadline is reporting that Roswell alum Jason Behr and American Crime Story actor Claude Knowlton are both joining the series in its last batch of episodes. According to the trade, Behr will play a notable Kryptonian with a significant role in helping Kara when she comes up against an insurmountable obstacle in the finale season. His character name is being kept under wraps for now. Could he be someone from the comics?
Meanwhile, Knowlton will playing an alien figure with a tragic past. His character will aid team Supergirl as the series heads towards its epic conclusion.
Supergirl stars Melissa Benoist, David Harewood, Chyler Leigh, Nicole Maines, Katie McGrath and Jesse Rath. The final season will begin airing on Tuesday nights at 9/8c on The CW.
