Before we show them to you, let’s clear up any confusion. Zack Snyder’s Justice League is still a 4 hour movie. It is no longer a mini series. However, the film will consist of six different title cards to break the film up into chapters/parts. So just to reiterate, you’ll be able to enjoy the entirety of Justice League in a single 4 hour sitting, there will just be title cards that will guide us into a new chapter. Easy, right?
- Part 1: Don’t Count On It Batman
- Part 2: The Age of Heroes
- Part 3: Beloved Mother, Beloved Son
- Part 4: Change Machine
- Part 5: All the King’s Horses
- Part 6: Something Darker
With six chapters, that roughly works out at 40 minutes per chapter given that the overall runtime is just over the 4 hour mark.
These chapters give us a vague indication as to what we can expect from the film’s overall narrative. Zack has revealed that his cut will end on a cliffhanger, “Part 6” of Justice League seems to allude to a much darker ending. Especially in comparison to the theatrical cut. This could tie nicely into the reports of Justice League 2 being mostly set in the Knightmare timeline.
What do you make of the chapter titles? Let us know your thoughts in the comments.
The film premieres on HBO Max in North America on March 18, 2021. International fans will also be able to watch Snyder’s Justice League on the 18th. However, details on how will be released soon. We’ll be sure to keep you posted.
