Fans are eager to see the return of Obi-Wan Kenobi. Unfortunately, we’ll have to do some serious waiting as the show is still in early developments. However, we have received some very exciting news regarding Disney’s highly anticipated series. Game of Thrones actress Indira Varma has joined the cast in a secret role. Indira Varma is mostly known for her role as Ellaria Sand in Game of Thrones. She also appeared in Ridley Scott’s Exodus: Gods and Kings, Rome, and Amazon’s Carnival Row.
According to Deadline, who reported the news, Varma’s character details are currently under wraps. That doesn’t really help us since we don’t actually know what the show will be about. The only thing we really know is that Ewan McGregor will be back as the Jedi Knight and the show will be set after the events of Revenge of the Sith. On top of that, Hayden Christensen is set to return as Darth Vader. But we’re not even sure how that is going to play out. So many questions. Very few answers.
