    Dive Back In To A World Of Horror With CREEPSHOW Season 2 Trailer

    Shudder, the premium streaming service for horror, thriller and the supernatural, has released a trailer ahead of the 1 April second season premiere of Creepshow.

    Theacclaimed anthology series has just been renewed for a third season of six episodes to premiere later this year. Based on George A. Romero’s iconic 1982 movie,Creepshow is executive produced by showrunner Greg Nicotero (​The Walking Dead). Actors Ethan Embry (Grace and Frankie, Sneaky Pete) and Andrew Bachelor, aka King Bach (King Bachelor’s Pad, To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before) will join as guest stars in season three, with more guest stars to be announced.

    “During our season two production, Shudder was so pleased with what they wereseeing that they asked us to roll right into production on a brand-new third season thatwill feature some of our most ambitious stories yet,” said Nicotero. “I’m incrediblythankful to the team at Shudder for the opportunity to continue honoring the genrewith more gleefully ghoulish tales over not one, but two new seasons of Creepshowthis year.”

    “Two years ago, Greg Nicotero and his team revived the beloved Creepshowfranchise with a spectacular first season followed by two ambitious specials, raisingthe bar for what a horror anthology series can be,” said Craig Engler, Shudder’sGeneral Manager. “We’re thrilled to bring Shudder members two more seasons thisyear, with new episodes that are even bigger, better, more shocking, and hilarious,and that truly live up to the show’s tag line, ‘The most fun you’ll ever have beingscared.’”

    Segments in the new five-episode season directed by Greg Nicotero will include“Pesticide,” starring Keith David (​The Thing), Ashley Laurence (​Hellraiser) ​and JoshMcDermitt (​The Walking Dead) and written by Frank Dietz (​I Hate Kids), in which anexterminator makes an infernal bargain; and “Model Kid,” written by returning​Creepshow writer John Esposito (season one’s “Night of the Paw”), which is about a12-year-old monster fan who turns to hand-built model kits to escape his unhappyreality.

    The upcoming second season of Creepshow will feature a star-studded cast that alsoincludes Ali Larter (The Rookie), Ryan Kwanten (​True Blood), Barbara Crampton (​Re-Animator), C. Thomas Howell (Criminal Minds), Denise Crosby (​Star Trek: The NextGeneration), Breckin Meyer (​Robot Chicken), Ted Raimi (​The Evil Dead), ImanBenson (​BlackAF), Kevin Dillon (​Entourage), Eric Edelstein (​We Bare Bears), JustinLong (Die Hard 4.0), D’Arcy Carden (The Good Place) and Molly Ringwald (TheBreakfast Club).

    In its first season, Creepshow smashed records for Shudder in number of viewers,new subscriber sign-ups and total minutes streamed to become the most watchedprogram in Shudder history. The show was a hit with critics as well as fans as one of2019’s best-reviewed new genre series, with a 97% Fresh rating on review aggregatorRotten Tomatoes®. The successful first season was followed by two specials in 2020,October’s A Creepshow Animated Special featuring the voices of Kiefer Sutherland(24) and Joey King (The Kissing Booth) and December’s A Creepshow HolidaySpecial starring Anna Camp (Pitch Perfect) and Adam Pally (The Mindy Project).

    Creepshow is produced by the Cartel with Monster Agency Productions, TaurusEntertainment, and Striker Entertainment: Stan Spry, Jeff Holland, and Eric Woods areexecutive producers and Geoff Silverman and Anthony Fankhauser are co-executive producers and Geoff Silverman and Anthony Fankhauser are co-executiveproducers for the Cartel; Nicotero and Brian Witten are executive producers and JuliaHobgood is a co-executive producer for Monster Agency Productions; RobertDudelson, James Dudelson and Jordan Kizwani are executive producers for TaurusEntertainment; Russell Binder is executive producer and Marc Mostman co-executiveproducer for Striker Entertainment; Mitchell Galin is a producer.
