2018 was a year which saw Jennifer Garner return to the action genre. The Alias star hit the big screen in director Pierre Morel’s Peppermint. An action-thriller in the vein of Taken which saw a mother (Garner) taking revenge on the people who murdered her family.
The STX release grossed a modest $53M worldwide from a production budget which is rumoured to be in the $25M range. But despite not setting the box office on fire the film has found a cult following on home video.
Now the film has been made available to purchase in the UK on PVOD platforms such as iTunes and the Google Play Store. You can grab your copy from today.
Back in December 2020 the film was added to Netflix and quickly became the platform’s #1 streaming movie. Reigning at number one for several days the added attention even caught Garner’s eye.
“What a nice surprise!” Garner wrote on Instagram. “Peppermint is streaming on @netflix and you guys are watching it- thank you so much, it is an honour to fight for all of you.”
