Fast & Furious 9, or Fast 9, is gearing up for a pretty explosive and epic release after facing multiple delays. With a new date in place, it’s safe to say that we’ll probably receive more teasers and trailers as we near its May release. Like with any Super Bowl, most of us just sat and waited for the new trailers. While this year was particularly quiet, we did get a short teaser for Fast 9

Where to start. Well, the Fast & Furious franchise definitely knows how to create epic action scenes. They also know how to defy physics. But we’re okay with that. For the purposes of entertainment, let the cast drive a car through a building while it’s on its side. In all fairness, it is always exciting to see what they come up with regardless of how ludicrous it is.
This teaser didn’t show a great deal. It was great to see Charlize Theron’s character back as well as Helen Mirren’s Magadalene Shaw. We got a bit more in terms of car chases which seemed like a nice return to the early days of the franchise. Then we quickly went back to collapsing buildings.
It will be interesting to see what else they have lined up but we’re certain that the next trailer will show the possible space adventure that Michelle Rodriguez teased. It’s possible that that was a joke but it’s the next logical step for the Fast & Furious franchise. We need to see them drive in space.
