Hot Toys have released some brand new images from their next upcoming project. The Dark Troopers were one of the coolest editions to The Mandalorian. They were scary, they looked amazing, and they posed a great threat. Well, until a certain someone arrived. Regardless, their presence in season 2 of The Mandalorian was an absolute highlight and we never really expected to see Hot Toys tackle them. But here we are.
The Dark Troopers were menacing and soulless droids created by Moff Gideon and his team. They were overwhelmingly strong, even for Mando and his arsenal of weapons and tricks. Not only did they help steal the asset in the most exhilarating and stressful episode, but they were key in one of the most memorable scenes in all of Star Wars. No one will be forgetting that finale any time soon.
Without further ado. We present to you, the dredged Dark Trooper:
Pretty impressive, right? We can’t wait to see this figure in action. We’re curious as to whether the glimpse of Luke’s figure is a tease of some kind. We’ve received a few Luke Skywalker Hot Toys, but this could be an opportunity to launch an updated version with his black cape and maybe a new face sculpt.
Only time will tell.
