As an anime fan, this is huge. Star Wars is now entering the world of anime. Star Wars announced 10 short films that will aim to showcase Star Wars through the lens of various talented anime creators. These creators haven’t been identified yet, but just the prospect is incredibly exciting.

“Star Wars: Visions, an Original Series of animated short films, celebrates the Star Wars galaxy through the lens of the world’s best Japanese anime creators. Coming in 2021 to Disney+.”
This is a huge deal for anime fans. We’re going to see what some incredibly talented Japanese creators can do. It is going to be amazing to see how they intend on adding to the vastness of Star Wars. The possibilities are endless.
If each episode focuses on a separate piece of Star Wars, we could get some really interesting stuff that explores new and familiar aspects. We cannot wait for Visions.
