It’s strange to think that Christian Bale’s Batman hung up his cape and cowl over 8 years ago. Despite this, The Dark Knight trilogy is still regarded as one of the best superhero trilogies to-date. Its impact on the genre has been profound and we can still feel the ripples.
One of the things we loved most about the trilogy was how it adapted Batman’s suit. It is still one of the best superhero suits in cinema. Hands down. Hot Toys have produced figures set in the Nolan-verse before. We’ve had Harvey Dent, Joker, Batman, Bane and Catwoman, but many of them are now considered pretty rare. In fact, you’ll have a hard time finding most of them apart from Harvey Dent due to him being fairly recent.
Now, Hot Toys have come forward with a brand new Batman figure depicting his appearance in The Dark Knight Rises. Check out the figure in all of its glory below.
This stunning figure stands at roughly 32cm tall and has over 30 points of articulation. As you’d expect with Batman, he also comes with a range of weapons and accessories.
- EMP rifle with LED light-up function (battery operated)
- Transformable sticky bomb gun
- Grapnel gun
- 3 Batarangs
- 2 mini mines
- A newly developed head sculpt with LED light-up function
- A new head sculpt of Christian Bale as Bruce Wayne. Each head sculpt is hand-painted by the immensely talented team at Hot Toys
And what’s this? A new Bat-pod?
That’s right! Not only can you get a newly developed Batman figure but you can now buy this spectacular companion piece. You’ll be able to recreate all of your favourite scenes and create a display that will have Batman fans drooling. Just look at it.
Warning: You’re gonna need a bigger shelf.
These upcoming figures are not due out until 2022. However, you can still secure your own Batman and Bat-Pod over at Sideshow.
