When last we saw the Predator on the big screen he was failing to set the box office alight with 2018’s The Predator. But a new report from Deadline suggests that 20th Century Studios is prepping for the alien hunter’s return to cinemas.
According to the exclusive report, the studio has tapped 10 Cloverfield Lane director Dan Trachtenberg to headline the fifth installment in the Predator series.
Plot details are being kept heavily under wraps but it appears this new film won’t circle back to the developments seen in Shane Black’s The Predator. Little movie fact for you: Black portrayed one of the commando’s in the very first Predator alongside Arnold Schwarzenegger.
No production details or release has been set for the film at the time of writing.
