Like us many fans were anticipating the release of Marvel Studios WandaVision series in December of this year. But following the news that the series has only just wrapped production, it seems the continuing adventures of Wanda Maximoff and her companion won’t kick off until early in 2021.
The Disney+ series has landed itself on the cover of Entertainment Weekly magazine with a brand new image of the couple in costume. EW is touting the cover story as a hugely in-depth piece on the series which will hopefully bring confirmation of a premiere date.
“Welcome to the Wanda years!” said EW in a tweet. “As the first of the MCU’s most ambitious small-screen endeavors, #WandaVision’s wonderfully weird send-up of sitcoms past is @MarvelStudios’ key to the future. Stay tuned for our in-depth cover story coming TOMORROW.”
Check out the full cover image below and check back later for more gossip about the series from the magazine.
WandaVision stars the returning Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda Maximoff and Paul Bettany as Vision. Joining them are Kathryn Hahn, Kat Dennings, Randall Park and Teyonah Parris.
