Today Deadline brings news on a casting shakeup on Amazon Prime Video’s The Boys. With writers currently breaking scripts for the series’ third season two recurring cast members are being upped to regular status.
Claudia Doumit, who joined the cast as Congresswoman Victoria Neuman in season 2, and Colby Minifie, who has portrayed Ashley Barrett since season 1, both find themselves inking new deals for further appearances in the future.
Fans who have completed season 2 will know that Congresswoman Neuman has a lot more going on that meets the eye. As the season 2 finale ended, Hughie (Jack Quaid) had signed up to work alongside the Congresswoman but unbeknownst to him she has a rather explosive secret!
Ashley started out season 1 working in the Vought PR team before graduating to the VP of Hero Management in season 2. Whether the character will survive another falling out with Homelander (Antony Starr) remains to be seen!
The Boys season 2 stars Karl Urban as Billy Butcher, Jack Quaid as Hughie, Laz Alonso as Mother’s Milk, Tomer Kapon as Frenchie, Karen Fukuhara as the Female, Erin Moriarty as Annie January, Chace Crawford as the Deep, Antony Starr as Homelander and Aya Cash as Stormfront.
