Not so long ago 2020 looked to be another big year for Marvel Studios. With Black Widow and The Eternals on the horizon it seemed that the studio was looking to a bright future beyond Avengers: Endgame.
Then Covid struck and set of a cascading domino effect which has seen plenty of the Phase 4 movies shifting release dates. But there is a small glimmer of hope in the near future.
Shang-Chi director Destin Daniel Cretton has taken to social media to confirm that filming has now completed. Shang-Chi now stands alongside Widow and Eternals in the MCU’s back pocket of films either completed or in post-production.
