Just last week we revealed that eOne and partners Hasbro are working on bringing the Power Rangers franchise back to the big screen. Today Deadline brings news that this new incarnation of the colourful heroes have fond a scribe.
eOne is reportedly planning a new wave of Power Rangers content with an interconnected film and TV universe. This new Morphin Grid universe is being spearheaded by The End of the F***ing World‘s John Entwistle.
According to Deadline’s report, eOne has tapped Titans co-producer Bryan Edward Hill to pen the script for the film. Comic book fans no doubt recognise the name as over the years he has worked on a number of big-name titles including Detective Comics, Angel, Spider-Man and Killmonger. On the small screen, aside from Titans, Hill has also worked on Ash vs Evil Dead.
No news yet on casting or a release window for Hasbro’s Power Rangers.
