Today we have had a massive announcement on the progress of the planned Sandman series coming to Netflix, the show’s producer Neil Gaiman conformed today through his personal Twitter account that filming will start in three weeks, see the original Tweet below:

This is certainly big news for comic fans with some films and planned shows already delayed due to the worldwide pandemic, this is a big positive step for the industry that we can keep going.
Announced back in June 2019 Netflix are developing Sandman as a television series. Wonder Woman screenwriter Allan Heinberg will serve as the showrunner and Gaiman as a producer, as yet there are no confirmed names of who will be cast in the series.
