Excuse us for being a little late with this one. But a huge congratulations from us to the team at HBO’s Watchmen on their huge Emmy wins on Sunday night.
The ceremony, dubbed the “Pandemmy” awards by host Jimmy Kimmel, took place remotely with many winners dialling in to celebrate their successes.
HBO’s Watchmen, headlined by Regina King and masterminded by Damon Lindelof took home 11 awards including the award for Limited Series.
There were also best acting wins for stars Regina King and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, writing awards for showrunner Damon Lindelof and Cord Jefferson. Additionally, Nine Inch Nails’ Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross also won “Best Music Composition in a Limited Series” for the series excellent score.
Watchmen also picked up awards for best casting (Victoria Thomas and Meagan Lewis), best cinematography (Gregory Middleton), and best fantasy/sci-fi costumes (Sharen Davis and Valerie Zielonka).

Watchmen stars Jeremy Irons, Regina King, Don Johnson, Tim Blake Nelson, Louis Gossett Jr., Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Tom Mison, Adelaide Clemens, Andrew Howard, Frances Fisher, Jacob Ming-Trent, Sara Vickers, Dylan Schombing, Lily Rose Smith, and Adelynn Spoon. The series has been developed for TV by Damon Lindleof.
