THE FALCON AND THE WINTER SOLDIER officially delayed until 2021

In a move which is by no means surprising, Disney+ has quietly confirmed that The Falcon and The Winter Soldier will now arrive in 2021. The series, originally due for release any time now, has only recently returned to filming following Coronavirus restrictions.

Following the first footage from WandaVision, now confirmed for a release later in 2020, Disney+ updated its website and changing some of its release information for upcoming series.

Pages for The Falcon and The Winter Soldier now show “coming 2021” confirming news of the delay.

The six-part limited series will be directed by Kari Skogland and stars Anthony Mackie as Sam Wilson and Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes. Emily VanCamp returns as Sharon Carter alongside Daniel Brühl as Baron Zemo, and Wyatt Russell as John Walker/USAgent.
