Now before you roll your eyes at the thought of another Robocop reboot or redo according to Edward Neumeier this idea is something quite different.
In a recent interview Neumeier stated that he is at MGM working with writers Dave Parkin and Rob Gibbs who had the original idea for the series, working together on a different type of Robocop story whereas before we had the story of Robocop told countless times this time we would be getting the story of Dick Jones, which those of you that know Robocop would know is the villainous Vice President of Omni Consumer Products.
Neumeier goes on to say that the TV series would delve deep into the back story of what built Jones into the corporate predator that he was. A very interesting concept sounds to be in a similar vein to the popular tv series Gotham which also shows us the different side of a popular well told story.
There is no official word as to when or even if the show will go ahead but me personally I’m quite excited to see how it looks on screen.
