Marvel’s The Eternals has officially changed its name in this massive change. It’s not really clear as to why the title was changed but we can now confirm that Marvel are dropping the “The” from the title.
We’re sorry if we mislead you. How could we not. Marvel have been really quiet lately while they wait for Black Widow to be released. It’s just amusing that the only news to escape from Marvel is the dropping of a single word… for no real reason. So, to summarize, Marvel’s The Eternals will now be called Eternals.
The internet had a bit of a laugh with this “news” and everyone was super surprised to see Guardians of the Galaxy director James Gunn to join in on the fun.

With the success of DC’s FanDome it will be interesting to see if they attempt to pull off a similar event focusing purely on the upcoming Phases. Having said that, we do think Marvel need to work hard to rebuild excitement for the next Phase.
Hosting an event similar to FanDome would be an excellent start. Or they could simply update us on what is next.
