Just weeks ahead of the debut of season 3, Star Trek: Discovery season 1 will make its debut on CBS All Access’ sister network, CBS.
The network, which has been home to Star Trek for decades now, will air edited episodes from season 1 starting September 24. Back in 2017 the pilot episode of Discovery aired on the network before moving to the brand new streaming platform CBS All Access.
CBS isn’t the only network who are making use of previously streaming-only series to fill gaps in their schedule. The CW is making use of the DC Universe series Swamp Thing this October whilst it waits for new episodes of its classic lineup of DC shows.
Here’s the UK trailer for season one, released by Netflix:
Star Trek: Discovery is produced by CBS Television Studios in association with Alex Kurtzman’s Secret Hideout, Bryan Fuller’s Living Dead Guy Productions and Roddenberry Entertainment. Alex Kurtzman, Bryan Fuller, Heather Kadin, Gretchen J. Berg & Aaron Harberts, Akiva Goldsman, Rod Roddenberry and Trevor Roth serve as executive producers.
