Right now we should have had the option to run out to the cinema to watch Universal Pictures Candyman. Prior to Covid-19 the film had been due for release on June 12, but instead finds itself pushed back to September 25.
During the recent BET Awards, Universal dropped a spine tingling new TV spot which shows off some new footage from the hotly anticipated release. Is that Tony Todd (the original Candyman, The Flash) we can hear there?

Directed by Nia DaCosta, Candyman stars Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Teyonah Parris, Nathan Stewart-Jarrett and Colman Domingo. The screenplay comes from Jordan Peele, Win Rosenfeld and Nia DaCosta.
