Marvel Comics is about to dive deep in to its latest event, Empyre. Co-written by Al Ewing and Dan Slott, the franchise spanning event is set to drastically change the life of one Avenger forever.
Jennifer Walters, otherwise known as She-Hulk, is about to follow in the footsteps of her cousin Bruce Banner and become immortal. If she dies, her She-Hulk transformation will be triggered and her life will be saved.
Falling out of the events of Empyre, Jennifer will be taking on her own solo title, The Immortal She-Hulk, beginning in September. Marvel has solicited the first issue with the following synopsis:

Debuting in September 2020, The Immortal She-Hulk #1 is written by Al Ewing with art by Jon Davis-Hunt and a cover by Joe Bennett.
