I’m on a Star Wars high. I’ve got new books, comics, documentaries and the promise of brand new shows. But now fans can look forward to a brand new Star Wars game that primarily focuses on mastering the art of starfighter combat. Welcome to Star Wars: Squadrons.
Star Wars: Squadrons is an upcoming game from EA that allows fans to take to the skies in the most iconic ships known in the Star Wars universe. You can take control of difference classes from the New Republic and Imperial Fleet including the X-Wing and TIE Fighter. You can modify your ship and take on your opponents in an immense strategic dogfight.

Wow. I am incredibly impressed. This trailer was fantastic. My favourite shot was the Star Destroyer rising from the clouds. But what kind of game is it?
Well it looks like it will be a mixture of single player campaign, Co-Op and, of course, multiplayer. This game promises 5v5 multiplayer dogfights, fleet battles, and a story set during the final days of the Empire and the rise of the New Republic. The new story will feature a brand new cast, as well as some cameos from familiar faces. Is that you Hera Syndulla?
