Marvel Comics (via Newsarama) has announced that it will be reprinting its full tie-in series to the classic X-Men: Evolution cartoon. That cartoon turns 20 years old this year so what better way to celebrate?
“Celebrate the tenth anniversary of the hit cartoon with this complete collection of the Marvel Comics tie-in series!” reads the description for the upcoming collection, which incorrectly refers to it as the “tenth anniversary” rather than the twentieth.
“First, see how it all began! How do two best friends become archenemies? How does a goddess from Africa find her place in the world? How does a man without a past decide mankind’s future? The lives of Professor X, Magneto, Storm and Wolverine collide as the world stands on the brink of genetic war! Then, go beyond the animated series with five all-new adventures featuring Mystique, Rogue, Beast and more!”
X-Men: Evolution ran for four seasons from 2000 until 2003 on The WB network in North America. The newly reprinted collection will be available on December 15, digital versions are available now on Comixology.
